Over the next decade some jobs will experience a surge in growth while others will wane. A subset of these jobs employ women at a much higher percentage than men. The fastest growing jobs for women in America are those that predominately employ women and have a high expected rate of growth. A large portion of these jobs are in the health care industry, the growth of which is due to increasing demand for individuals who can work assistant level positions, filling the gaps left behind by overwhelmed management.

This is not to say that these jobs are the highest paying for women, nor is there a guarantee that these jobs will continue to employ more females to males in the future.
