Fashion Vodka launches in style at Bangalore

March 13, 2014 in Bangalore was a night of music, fashion, and cocktails — provided by Fashion Vodka. The Fashion Party Collection event attracted a mix of the city’s socialites, personalities and party animals to this invite-only happening at the city’s favourite nightspot Ice, at Vivanta by Taj.

The poolside patio provided a perfect setting for the festivities. It provided a nice blend of panache and style with low lighting, comfortable and well-placed seating. The open-air location incorporated the great evening weather that Bangalore is known for.

The evenings festivities kicked off with a creative LED light dance. The voice of Fashion TV (FTV) Ania J served as the evenings Emcee. The one-time jet-setting model who released her first album with Supernova in 2008, entertained the crowd with her new songs “What’s App Man,” and “Trillionaire” (for the Fashion TV Production of the same name). And the crowd loved it.

The music for the night was spun by Kiev-based DJ Helen Swan (Elena Lebedeva), who is one of the participants of Duo Hard Candies. She offered a mix of musical styles that provided a sound backdrop for the night that was energetic and unintrusive. She has become quite the international favorite at fashionable metropolitan clubs, and didn’t disappoint tonight.

Indian-born fashion designer Michelle Salins was one of the features of the night with two short runway shows. With her initial fashion line launched in 2009 after a successful interior design career, she has catapulted to the top of the fashion scene with hi-net worth clientele dressed for the MET-gala, hollywood award nights, elite social and celebratory events.

Her simple yet feminine silhouettes were on show tonight — with a mix of old-world sophistication, haute couture and a modern eye — as she presented some fun and flirty dresses perfect for balmy nights.

Mr. Arun Aditya Singla, the managing director of Kristal Spirits [who in association with F Beverages LTD and Fashion TV hosted the event] was quoted as saying “Youth in India today are fashionable, stylish and confident and all the characteristics epitomize the FASHION VODKA party collection. Our main aim is to deliver world class premium products to the Indian consumer. FTV has a great fan following and the beverages by FTV have got an overwhelming response across the globe. We are getting closer to our audience by bringing in innovative concepts like F parties and premium global products to the Indian market and we are confident of its success.”

Kristal Spirits CEO (Mr. Rahul Kashyap) noted that “Fashion Vodka Party Collection is meant for those who seek a fashionable lifestyle, are stylish, sociable and enjoy partying.”

From this reviewers vantage point, it was a successful night;  the crowd seemed to fully embrace and enjoy the evening.
