The last week has seen the split of California’s most celebrated couple – Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.

Arnold Schwarzenegger seemed to have it all – a great career, money, fame, a devoted wife and a great family. Arnold seemed like a role model for men who took inspiration from the fact that you could have a great career, fame, money and also a great personal life. The split came as a shock for most people who looked up to this celebrated couple in awe during their happy days and wondered how they could keep it all together for 25 long years.

This was not all, a few days later came the shocking admission that Arnold had fathered a love child outside of his marriage to Maria Shriver. What was even more shocking was that Arnold had kept it a secret for more than a decade and the mother of the child was his household help who’d been working in the Schwarzenegger household for nearly 20 years. It’s ironic that the mother of Arnold’s love child continued to work in the Schwarzenegger household even after giving birth to the child.

Now, the news is that Arnold and Maria will be living separately. Will they reconcile? Who knows?
