The movie “Not a Love Story” is a Hindi movie supposed to be based on a high profile story that broke out in the Indian media recently where a girl who is engaged to her long-time boyfriend moves to Mumbai to become an actress.
The movie shows the prevalent casting couch in Bollywood.
Then, one day when the girl’s fiance shows up at her apartment to give her a surprise, he is shocked to see her in bed with another man. The fiance get’s violent and he starts beating up the other guy and he ends up accidentally killing the guy.
Not knowing what to do, the couple end up chopping the body into pieces and taking it to the outskirts of the city and burning it.
“Not a Love Story” is gripping with drama and there is not a single dull moment in the movie. The movie has some great moments and the actors have been brilliant in the movie.
“Not a Love Story” is again a great tribute to the magic and brilliance of Ram Gopal Varma.
